The Wood Loft Amish Custom Furniture has crafted thousands of tables for people throughout our 35+ years of being open. We are convinced that are products will exceed your expectations for a variety of different reason.
The number one reason is that we give you, the customer, the ability to pick from one of our hundreds of styles that are available. If the style you are looking for is not shown then we have the ability to have it Amish custom crafted to fit your needs. This allows you to choose the style you are searching for from the simple lines of a Shaker Mission Trestle style table up to the elegant sweeping lines of a Queen Anne Pedestal style table. You also get to choose from one of the many hardwoods available including red oak, quarter sawn white oak, cherry, maple, hickory, walnut, elm, mahogany, or one of the many rustic hardwoods that are available in each species. Finally you can choose from one of our MANY stain colors to create the perfect appearance for your kitchen or dining room suite.
The second reason to choose The Wood Loft to help you create the perfect Amish custom made table is price. We work directly with the Amish businesses and help the design process in order to provide a price point that will beat all comparable businesses. We do not by from middle man warehouses or shippers and work directly with the Amish craftsmen to cut out all extra hidden costs.
The third reason is quality. All of our tables are Amish crafted out of solid hardwoods. We do NOT use veneers or particle board. This creates a table that can stand up to the everyday use that a family deserves and will be ready for all occasions. We also have all of our tables finished with a catalytic varnish that creates a finish that is harder than other finishes and provides much more protection than standard polyurethane. The finish is resistant to water, alcohol, heat, and more. That means if you want to sit at your table for a leisurely family dinner you don’t have to worry about setting your glass on the table. White rings are no longer an issue with the harder finish. It also means that after your meal or when you have guests visiting that you can use a simple wet rag to clean up the table quickly and easily.
Lastly, all of our Amish craftsmen stand behind their workmanship. All of our Amish custom made tables are guaranteed for a full year. If anything happens to your table structurally, including finish and wood flaws, all you have to do is bring the table back and our craftsmen will fix or replace it. In reality, we have very few quality problems in the first place.
Your custom table is not made in a large factory by people that are just assembling kit parts and don’t care about the final product. We use smaller Amish shops that are usually just made up of a few craftsmen that truly care about what they produce. Because of this personal involvement, our Amish craftsmen stand behind their furniture and realize that anything that goes wrong will reflect badly on them and will do their best to make sure the perfect piece is made.
Feel free to looks through our wide assortment of standard style pieces. We also to encourage you to look through magazines and other website to get design ideas. If you find a picture that has table ideas or aspects you would like incorporated into your table send them to use. Once we work out the different design ideas you are thinking of and have a general size and wood in mind we will work with the Amish craftsmen to get a price. Once the price and design process in done we can get the order written up and get to the building time. Since all of our custom tables are made in Amish shops and not a factory we do like to remind people that the production time can fluctuate between 8 to 14 weeks depending on the season and the craftsman that is building the piece. When the table design is discussed we can give a timeline so that preparation can be made for your dining room or kitchen.
