Amish Custom Oak Gun Cabinet and Office Desk

One of our showpiece design gun cabinets that quickly became a head turner in the store when we were finishing it out.  The Amish custom handcrafted solid oak gun cabinet and desk unit featured pretty much all the bells and whistle we could put into a gun cabinet.  After the gun cabinet was completely assembled it would proudly display up to 28 rifles and shotguns all securely behind wood clad steel locking bars.

The list of features that this gun cabinet includes goes on and on. All of the barrel and butt rests and center back plate were lined with premium leather in the color of the customers choosing.  The lower desk featured full extension soft close drawers with solid wood dovetailed construction.  All glass was laminated glass for extra strength and security.  The lower desk base housed a steel gun safe door that hid two more full extension drawers.  Solid oak hardwood construction throughout the entire cabinet.

The custom gun cabinet when completely assembled can also be bolted to the wall for added security.	The top gun cabinets and the lower desk bases both feature fluted accents along the sides of the doors.

One of the desk bases.  The overall cabinet was 6 pieces that bolted together after transport to complete the gun cabinet.	Test fitting different size rifles and shotguns into the upper horizontal gun cabinet before install the gun rack and wood clad steel security bars.
The lower desk cabinet housed a steel gun safe door for ammo and handgun storage.	Behind the dual locked gun safe door we installed full extension drawers that were felt lined to protect valuables.
This cabinet was Amish custom crafted using the customer dimensions for up to twenty eight guns.  While crafting the display cabinets we found that it worked for a wide combination of different guns.  The center also made a great pistol, handgun, and sword display.  This cabinet would look gorgeous is any of our solid hardwoods such as oak, hickory, walnut, maple, quarter sawn white oak,  or one of our many rustic hardwoods.
